My name is Vita; I simply love to create things that are both beautiful and functional.

I have to think that it is the medieval beauty of my hometown, Lviv in the Ukraine, its long and fascinating history that has brought me to appreciate all forms and expressions of art.

I got interested in creative design when I started working for an interior design studio, directly after I read my graduate's degree in English Literature at the Lviv National University. Ever since, I have worked hard and long at trying to master and improve my knowledge and skills in this field.

After moving to Toronto, Canada, I studied graphic design at the College of Design and Technology and later freelanced as a print designer for different organizations both in Canada and Michigan, where I am residing right now.

The web medium became my primary interest in 2004 after I joined a web team at CareTech - a leader in information technology and website solutions for the healthcare industry.

I am passionate about combining creativity and technology, balancing user performance and visual appeal. I advocate and practice designing websites and interfaces from the perspective of the end user. I am very enthusiastic about technology and never stop learning and improving.

When I am not working on a project, either learning a new technique or pursuing another course I replenish my energy and creativity by being close to the nature, walking with my dog, reading a good book or drawing. I enjoy traveling and my fascination with other cultures and traditions, their diversity and richness never seizes.

Life in all its forms and expressions is my never ending source of inspiration.
